Update checks
When enabled, Karuiya makes an HTTPS request to the official website to retrieve version information. Media and project contents are not transmitted.
Website logs
The hosting provider may record ordinary access data such as IP address, time, and browser information.
Download measurement
For the Windows distribution ZIP, the official website records only an anonymous aggregate count of clicks on the download button. It does not use cookies or personal or device identifiers, and IP addresses, user-agent strings, and referrer data are not stored in this analytics dataset. If measurement fails, the direct file download continues unaffected. The count represents button clicks that start a download, not completed downloads.
